Q: How do I sign up?
A: Fill out this form! For both people interested only in the general psychology club, and those who want to register for Psi Beta through us.
Q: Are there any requirements or fees to join?
A: Since we’re a combined club, there is no requirement to just be a general member! BUT - If you want to sign up with the OPTIONAL national Psi Beta honors organization through us, you’ll need to have a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have completed psychology course (i.e., PSYC 1) or have AP Psych credits. You'll also need to have completed 12 units of school. We will need copies of your unofficial transcripts and/or AP scores. Also, if you want to join the national Psi Beta organization, there is a one-time $50 fee for lifetime involvement (The money is not sent directly to our club, but rather Psi Beta).
If you are interested in registering for Psi Beta, please fill out the Psi Beta Membership Form and upload your transcripts. The Psychology Club will register you to Psi Beta and you should soon shortly receive an e-mail to finish your registration and pay the one-time $50 fee for lifetime enrollment.
Anyone from any campus, club, or major can join us! At the end of the academic school year, the Psychology Club usually holds a Psi Beta ceremony where all new Psi Beta members will receive their certificate and pin. Hope to see you there!
Q: How do I get my unofficial transcript?
A. Please refer to this sheet.
Q: I can't make any of the meeting times, is there any way to change when they happen?
A: Your availability is important to us! Our events are productive when we cater to people's schedules, so that's why we've created this time sheet for anyone who is interested to fill out! We'll be checking this periodically to see what days/times are best for everyone to attend. Fill out this simple timesheet for Fall 2022!
If you're juggling a lot and prefer to be in-the-know by reading our updates, we've got you covered too! We'll be uploading notes from certain events. Check out the blog page for updates.
Q: What are the benefits of joining Psi Beta?
A: Would you benefit from a community of like-minded peers? Psi Beta connects you with similarly high-achieving and dedicated people.
Want to stand out from the crowd? Joining the honors society will help show your high motivation and passion for the field.
Would you like added connections and networking opportunities? Psi Beta could provide those! Psi Beta affiliation also helps connect you with organizations like the American Psychological Association and bring discounts for events.
